Today I had the honour of visiting our very own 'Frank Partridge Military Museum," in Bowraville. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. I love book launches! There are so many talented people in this small valley of ours. I have been fortunate enough to be able to experience quite a number of book launches, not just my own but those of Karly Lane, Greg Barron and Annie Seaton. When you look up the meaning it depends on when and how you use it as to what it's meaning really is. 'You look just like your father!' Although is was a commonly spoken word, it was like having that cute reliable black dress in the wardrobe, it was always there and useful when needed but readily forgotten about once it has been used. Over the last ten years social media has become such a huge part of 90% of peoples lives... cue in the word 'like.' We like' peoples photos, we 'like' their new lounge, we 'like' their new haircut, we 'like' their pets. I have been on a quest this week to reach 1000 page 'likers' (That really sounds strange doesn't it)

Nothing quite beats 'A Mothers touch.' My blog tonight is a little personal.  I haven't written anymore of "Beneath the snow of Gnojnik," for the better part of a week. It has been bedlam in my household! The craziness of getting teenagers to school, working long hours due to one of my business partners (mum) being on holidays and travelling to Sydney for the weekend.
