You have probably noticed I have been posting a little about the Bowra Regional Writers Expo. So what is it? We are so lucky in this beautiful area of the Mid North Coast, we have some of the nations best musician, writers and Artists. A few of us local authors put our heads together and felt it was time to bring a Writers Festival of sorts to the Nambucca Valley, hence the birth of the Bowra Regional Writers Expo.

Well I am disappointed to say I have lost my 'Hacked' virginity. I have officially be Hacked by someone in some foreign country. Let me start at the beginning....This weekend has been a strange weekend. Saturday was busy and frustrating, Daughter of the Tiler-man is so so close to being complete but there are still some finer points to get through... (Finer points in writers terms mean 'bloody annoying bits and pieces'.) I have noticed over the past week I have had e-mails returned to me, when I have read where the messages were returned from they were weird email addresses I have never seen before. It was then I was notified by my email supplier to change my password as they noticed unusual activity on my account. Easy done. But it was too late!! I received ANOTHER email but this time from Amazon saying I had successfully changed my email and password. The  LOVELY people (I am being sarcastic by the way... the words I would use to describe them really wouldn't be appropriate for a blog) had already hacked my amazon account and changed the email address and password to the KDP section where I get my royalties for my books!! And it was about now I went into total freak out mode!!! After taking a few deep breaths, calling American Amazon and clearing up this mess, I now have my KDP account back in my control with no damage done. (My apologies to anyone I usually send emails to and have received SPAM messages from me lately!)Then came Sunday!   Today looked a little like this....

I would have to live in the most beautiful place Australia has to offer. I was a little distracted from my writing today due to this...

Nothing quite beats a stormy afternoon after a hot muggy Aussie day. I am sitting on my veranda watching the storm clouds brewing over Yarahapani mountain. A low rumble is echoing along the river as the clouds move closer. Spectacular is really the only word to aptly describe it. The temperature has dropped and a slight breath of cool air is swirling in anticipation of the rain about to fall. It has been a long week I have lost count of the massages I have done, the hair I have cut and coloured and the coffees I have made.

I lay in bed this morning and took a ginger sip of my hot cup of tea. Slowly placing it on the side table I picked up my laptop and put it on my lap, it was time to go on an adventure. My fingers busily typed as my mind went to a place it has never been before. This is one of many aspects I love about writing. It doesn't matter where you are or what you are doing, the minute you start writing your adventure, you are only limited by your own imagination.

I am sitting at the kitchen table looking out the glass slider and I can see my two children playing and fishing off our wharf with their 'besties' from down the street. They have grown so much, they look like young adults. (Attitude of teenagers still! Mores the pity!) I remember this age so clearly. I was heavily into martial arts, and loved school (especially the social aspect) The most earth shattering problem I had to deal with was a pain in the backside older brother, and sharing a bedroom with my younger sister, all whilst trying to figure out what to eat for a snack when I arrived home off the bus after a 'hectic' day at school. (OMG the pressures of a teenager!)

I sat down at the computer three hours ago. As much as I would love to say I have written the last chapter of "Beneath the snow of Gnojnik" or written an amazing blog, I haven't done either. Instead I have embraced the fact it is Friday. Today has been a magical day. It would normally have been like any other Friday but for some reason today was different. I opened the shop a minute or two late, (only because Mum is on holidays and Bree's little men had a virus and needed to stay home, so I was it today at work) I missed a delivery but the shop next door took receipt of it and helped bring it into the shop for me. (Magical moment 1) Only moments later a beautiful soul walked in the front door.  A friend of mine had an accident and was badly burnt, I saw her for the first time today since the accident and she looks amazing. She was beaming with the glow of a mum to be, ( I even felt bubby move) and the new marks on her skin were as beautiful as she is. Her strength and courage was admirable as I watched her beautiful graceful being cross the street to enjoy a day with her sister. I smiled a very happy smile. (Magical moment 2)

I am very excited to announce I have a new website! I have been busily working with my web designer Benn to create an easy to navigate website. The new website consists of the most up to date news and blog posts as well as a shopping cart making it easier to purchase a paperback copy of The Willow Tree Series and have it sent to you. This facility will be available... WORLDWIDE. Merchandise will become available within the next few weeks. Head over to www.tamaramcwilliam.com and check it out!

Well, here they are. Many of my readers have been bantering over which of the main lead males of "The Willow Tree Series" was their favourite. In my family, we are divided. My Mum is a Max die hard #TEAMMAX supporter. On the other hand my sister Bree is #TEAMHUNTER all the way. I tend to swing between #TEAMCARSON and #TEAMCONNOR. I have had some awesome shirts made up that will be available soon via the shopping cart. Stay tuned for more updates on when they will be available.
